
Now that the Chiefs are getting used to the idea of Priest Holmes’ return, they can get working on their offense. At River Falls yesterday, temperatures climbed to the mid-90s, with 95-percent humidity making things tough on anyone who had to suit-up. Coach Herm Edwards was disenchanted with the offense yesterday, as he watched his depleted running backs drop several fumbles. Edwards told reporters that everyone’s aware that they need to do a better job on turnovers. He said, “That’s why we practice.”
