L.J. Still Holding Out

Talks between the Chiefs and Larry Johnson continue to heat up.  If they don’t come to an agreement today, the running back will miss his second preseason game.  Carl Peterson says no deal is imminent, but the Chiefs president and GM says it wouldn’t be the first time he’s been through stubborn negotiations.  Peterson says if Johnson wants to play at all this year, he’d better be working out on his own, otherwise he won’t be in good enough shape to hit the field running.
