Holmes Remains On Physically-Unable List

The Chiefs and Priest Holmes are taking no chances, even though the tailback’s doctors have cleared him for contact.  Holmes practiced at Arrowhead yesterday, but didn’t engage in any contact drills.  Once he puts on a helmet and joins the others, he’ll be taken off of the physically-unable-to-perform list, and there’s no going back.  As of today, it’s 628 days since Holmes’ last game.  He says he can do most of what needs to be done, but he’s waiting for Herm Edwards to give him the go-ahead.  Edwards says he doesn’t think Holmes is at 100-percent yet.
