Tonight’s preseason game between the Chiefs and the Rams might not mean anything as far as the team’s records are concerned. But it means the world to many players, who are hanging onto their jobs by a thread. The Chiefs cut their roster to 75 men earlier in the week, but they have to slash 22 more names by Saturday afternoon. Team brass will only have tonight, to take a last look at who might be staying and who won’t.
