Huard has his knee iced

The Chiefs’ season, so far, is going much the same way as the preseason.  In Houston yesterday, it was mistake-after-mistake from the first drive as Kansas City lost 20-3.  Justin Medlock turned it over four times and dropped a few, even missing a 30-yard chip shot.  Damon Huard was picked off twice.  Chris Wilson was hit hard, just a split-second after catching the ball.  Officials ruled it a catch and fumble, and the Texans’ Mario Williams carried it off for a touchdown.  The Chiefs’ defense permitted no offensive points in the first quarter.  Larry Johnson tallied 10 carries for 43 yards.  Tony Gonzalez, who made five catches and carried the ball 28 yards, can celebrate his 100th game in-a-row with a reception.  That’s the second-longest streak by a tight end in NFL history.  It’s off to Chicago this coming weekend to take on the Bears, who lost to the Chargers yesterday 14-3.
