Posted in Going into this weekend’s contest between the Chiefs and the Bears at Soldier Field, both teams have an incentive to play hard. Because both teams lost their season openers, and neither wants to go into it at 0-and-2. The Chiefs’ head coach, Herm Edwards, watched his new kicker — Dave Rayner — at practice yesterday. Edwards says the new guy appears ready for Sunday. Wide receiver Eddie Kennison will have to watch from the sidelines. He’s out with a hamstring injury.
