Allen Practices, LJ And McIntosh Don’t

Help could be on the way for the so-far winless Chiefs. After a two-game suspension imposed by the NFL because of his drunk driving convictions, Jared Allen was back at practice yesterday. He’ll be in the starting lineup Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Neither Larry Johnson nor Damion McIntosh were in their pads yesterday. Coach Herm Edwards says LJ just needed a day off, and McIntosh was still being bothered by his knee injury. Both are expected to practice today. Edwards said Allen seemed to have some fresh legs yesterday, but figures the defensive end will really feel those aches today.
