A sore hamstring kept Chiefs running back Larry Johnson off the practice field yesterday. Coach Herm Edwards isn’t overly concerned. He says the problem is mainly the result of Johnson’s long absence from training camp. LJ held a conference call with reporters yesterday. He says the team’s problems have been mostly about players failing to make plays, not coaches making the wrong calls. Guard Brian Waters agrees. He says Johnson’s position depends on everyone else. Waters says Johnson gets too much credit when the Chiefs win, and too much of the blame when they don’t do so well. He says most of the weight is really on the rest of the team.
