Edwards Anticipates More Improvement

Dwayne Bowe celebrates after his 51-yard touchdown reception

Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards says he thought his team would be doing much better this season.  He offers no excuses for the slow start, but does think the 2-and-2 Chiefs will improve as the season wears on.  The team has been outscored by 27 points in the first half so far this season, but have come back to outscore their opponents by the same number in the second half.  So, to use mixed terminology, they’re batting .500.  Looking ahead to Sunday’s game, Edwards says he expects a very physical contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars on both sides of the football.
