Huard’s Injury Not Enough To Bench Him

Herm Edwards says the shoulder injury suffered by quarterback Damon Huard, in the final moments of Sunday’s game against Jacksonville, is not as serious as feared. So Huard will likely be back to start Sunday, versus the Bengals at Arrowhead. Brodie Croyle came in to sub for Huard, and almost immediately helped lead the Chiefs to a touchdown. Edwards says he’ll wait until practice is over today, before making a definitive decision. Meanwhile, the Bengals will be without their starting cornerback, as former first-round pick Jonathan Joseph begins a two-game suspension for violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Joseph was arrested for marijuana possession during a January traffic stop.
