The Chiefs had yesterday off for some R-and-R after Sunday’s big win over the Bengals.  The big news today is the possibility that Priest Holmes could be back in action soon, maybe as early as this weekend, as the Chiefs travel to take on the Oakland Raiders.  After being out of action for nearly two years, the 34-year-old running back returned to training camp in July.  He’s expected to practice with the team for the first time tomorrow.  Head coach Herm Edwards says he wants to watch what happens before deciding whether, or when, to set Holmes loose on the field.
