Huard Misses First Day Back at Practice

Head coach Herm Edwards says his Chiefs made it back from the bye week safe and sound.  Quarterback Damon Huard was notably missing, though.  Edwards says Huard was just taking a well-deserved extra day off.  Eddie Kennison is said to be looking good, and Edwards says the wide receiver could be back in action this weekend against Green Bay.  The coach, himself, says he spent most of the bye week watching tape and filling out report cards.
