Ex-Chiefs Nominated For Hall Of Fame

Three former Chiefs are among 124 players, coaches, and contributors nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2008.  They are defensive back Albert Lewis, who later played for Oakland; Nick Lowery, who’s considered the most accurate place-kicker in league history; and the late linebacker Derrick Thomas.  Former quarterback Emmitt Smith was already nominated by the Senior Committee.  The list of preliminary nominees will be whittled-down to 25 in November.
