Johnson Likely to Miss Game Sunday vs Denver

Doctors are looking at the results of an MRI that Chiefs running back Larry Johnson had yesterday.  Coach Herm Edwards says we should know sometime today, just how serious L.J.’s ankle injury is.  Johnson also underwent some treatment at Arrowhead.  If he has to miss Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos, Priest Holmes will have to pick up some of the slack.  But Edwards says he can’t imagine Priest carrying more than 15-times.  That would mean more work for rookie Kolby Smith, who has only caught two passes so far this season.
