L.J. Out Sunday; Beyond That, Who Knows?

The Chiefs are still waiting for team doctors to determine what, exactly, is wrong with running back Larry Johnson’s right foot.  They do know it’s very swollen, but the good news is, it’s not broken.  So, although L.J. won’t play against Denver on Sunday, and the next couple of weeks might be in question, the injury is not likely to be a season-ender.  Coach Herman Edwards says he doesn’t like to concentrate on who’s hurt.  He says he needs to look at who’s available to play.  A lot of Johnson’s weight will fall on the shoulders of Priest Holmes and rookie Kolby Smith.
