Croyle Gets Starting Nod

Brodie Croyle is, once again, the Chiefs’ starting quarterback.  He’ll start Sunday in Indianapolis against the Colts.  He replaced Damon Huard on Sunday after Huard was injured late in the Chiefs’ loss to the Denver Broncos.  Head coach Herm Edwards announced yesterday that the substitution would be permanent, or at least as permanent as these things get.  Croyle went 17-of-30 for 162 yards on Sunday with one interception.

I’ve noticed that Brodie has a harder time getting the ball to Tony Gonzalez than Huard did, but he gets the ball to his college rival(s) Bowe better. Crazy how things work out, but its even more crazy why he would pass to the team that whopped him so badly in college. But hey, he did get drafted so much earlier than I would have wanted to see him go. If he’s the real deal he should be given his chance b/c Huard has been getting slowly worse. How’d HUARD do so well last season???? Mustabeen the OLINE.
