Chiefs Spend Thanksgiving At Practice
Posted by Matt Loede on November 23rd, 2007 filed in NewsThanksgiving was no holiday for the Chiefs. The players and coaches spent the day on the field, practicing for their face-off against Oakland on Sunday. The Chiefs are hoping to snap their three-game losing streak. They did beat the Raiders a little over a-month-ago, out on the West Coast. But a victory this weekend might be an uphill battle, what with Larry Johnson and his bad foot, and the injury-forced retirement of Priest Holmes. Rookie Kolby Smith will start at running back on Sunday.
