Chiefs Host Chargers For Crucial AFC West Tilt

Traditional AFC West rivals will clash this Sunday when the Chiefs welcome the Chargers to Arrowhead Stadium.  The first-place Chargers hold a two-game lead over the fading third-place Chiefs.  Kansas City has dropped four straight to dip to 4-and-7 on the season.  Brodie Croyle completed just 12 passes for 145 yards and a pick last week, while rookie Kolby Smith rushed for 150 yards and two scores in his first NFL start.  San Diego has alternated wins and losses over the past four games after beating the Baltimore Ravens 32-14 in Week 12.  Philip Rivers threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns as the Chargers improved to 6-and-5.  Kansas City is 29-and-18 all-time at home against San Diego and has won nine of the last 10 meetings.  The Chiefs beat the Chargers 30-16 at San Diego in Week Four.
