Edwards Apologizes For Comments

Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards is apologizing for some things he said last week.  His words to disappointed fans were, “It’s called life.  Get over it.”  At yesterday’s press conference, Edwards said a lot of people misinterpreted what he meant.  He says that during tough times, you have to prepare to win the next game.  The coach says he knows that the fans have a lot of passion, and a lot invested in the Chiefs.  He says he has a workable plan for next year, but for now, he has to concentrate on those last two remaining games.  This Sunday, it’s off to Detroit to face the Lions.  Then, on the 30th, he’ll wrap-up a less-than-stellar season with the team he coached for four seasons, the New York Jets.
