Tony Gonzalez set the NFL record for receptions by a tight end in KC’s 13-10 overtime loss to the Jets on Sunday.  Gonzalez made his 816th career reception in the third quarter to surpass Shannon Sharpe for most all-time.  He finished the game with seven grabs to extend the new mark to 820.  Gonzalez already holds the tight end record for career touchdown catches with 66.
