Brass Wrap Up Disappointing Season
Posted by Matt Loede on January 4th, 2008 filed in NewsChiefs president Carl Peterson and head coach Herman Edwards officially closed one of the worst seasons in franchise history yesterday. They met with the media for the year-end wrapup. Peterson announced there will be no price hike for tickets next season. In fact, he says there might even be a decrease. Peterson says he’ll have to shoulder some of the heat for the team’s offensive line problems. But he also blames nagging injuries, which started as early as training camp, and the age of some of the players. Meanwhile, Edwards says he plans to take the Chiefs’ offense in a new direction. He offered no hint as to who might be his new offensive coordinator.
