Chiefs Cut Veteran WR Kennison

The Chiefs have cut their ties with another veteran player.  On Tuesday, the team released wide receiver Eddie Kennison.   He was a Chief for seven years, catching 321 passes for more than 5,000 yards.  Kennison only played in eight games last season because of injuries.

Chiefs Cut Veteran Guard Welbourn

John Welbourn is out of a job today, after the Chiefs cut ties with the veteran right guard.  The cut should save the team about two-million-dollars.  The Chiefs got Welbourn from Philadelphia in 2004.  He started in every game last season.
