Williams now a Chief

The Chiefs have made their first signing of the free agent stanza, as earlier this evening reports state that team came to terms with former Falcons linebacker Demorrio Williams on a five-year deal worth $16 million, with $5 mil in guaranteed money.  Williams was the Falcons 4th round pick back in 2004, and last season played in all 16 games and had 78 tackles, no sacks and two interceptions.  Williams has played in 64 career games, with 354 career tackles, 6.5 sacks and five picks.  The Kansas City Star stated that if the team signed Williams, he would likely replace Napoleon Harris as a starter.
