The Chiefs have a new center, as the team has signed Wade Smith, who was with the Jets the last two seasons.  Smith was taken by the Dolphins in the 3rd round of the 2003 draft, and played there for three seasons before moving on to the Jets.  The team will likely have an open competition between Smith and Rudy Niswanger for the starting center spot.  Casey Weigmann was the teams starting center last year, but was let go after the season.
