Thomas Ready For NFL’s Highest Honor

Emmitt Thomas had to wait his turn, but the time is finally here for the former Chiefs cornerback.  Thomas will join five of his teammates from the early Super Bowl teams in the Pro Football Hall Fame located in Canton, Ohio.  Thomas, who was voted in by the Senior Committee, still ranks ninth in NFL history with 58 regular-season interceptions after retiring from the game in 1978.  The Chiefs also plan on celebrating Thomas’s career by retiring his number-18 during the Tennessee Titans game on October 19th.
