As if the Kansas City Chiefs need another injured body on their roster, the Associated Press is reporting that their first-round draft pick, right tackle Branden Albert, could possibly miss the remainder of training camp with a sprained foot. Assuming that is the case, that would a major blow to the Chiefs as Albert is learning a new position, having played guard while at the University of Virginia.
Team head coach Herm Edwards said that Albert would be evaluated daily, but is very unlikely to play in the Chiefs’ first preseason game against the Chicago Bears this week. Albert was initially diagnosed with a mildly sprained ankle after being injured during a joint practice with the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.
The packers hall of fame left a message on my friends phone telling him that there was some big announcement next week, do you know what it is?
