Posted in Just as the Chiefs got some good news on Branden Albert today, it looks like LB Demorrio Williams will have to sit for the final two preseason games due to a broken right hand. Williams is already stating that he’ll be ready for the teams opener vs the Pats on September 7th. “When I did it, I knew I did something, but I thought I might just have jammed another finger,” Williams said Wednesday. “I ended up going through practice. I didn’t think it was this serious.” On another injury note, starting right tackle Damion McIntosh was held out of practice Wednesday after spraining an ankle Tuesday.
