The Chiefs have added a veteran kicker to the their roster, as today they signed former Dolphins kicker Jay Feely to a one-year deal.  has played in 112 regular season games with Atlanta (2001-04), the N.Y. Giants (2005-06) and Miami (2007). He has converted 177 of 219 field goals (80.8%) and 249 of 251 PATs (99.2%) for 780 points. He has also appeared in six postseason contests, connecting on eight of 11 FGs (72.7%) and all 12 of his PATs for 36 points.  Terms of the deal were not announced.  Right now the Cheifs have two kickers on the roster – Nick Novak, who missed his only field-goal attempt Saturday. Novak and rookie Connor Barth have each made two of three field goals, their only misses coming from 48 yards.  It looks as if Feely will get the job if he can come in and be consistent and make kicks when they count.
