Feely Lasts Just One Day on Chiefs Roster

It didn’t take long for the Chiefs to decide that veteran kicker Jay Feely was not going to make the team.  Just one day after signing a one-year deal, the Chiefs said “so long” to Feely, this after Herm Edwards had a “kick off” with the three kickers on the roster to see who would make the team.  The eight-year vet was released from the Dolphins recently, and will go back to looking for work.  The Chiefs roster is now at 76 players.

I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t even give Feely a chance in the final pre-season game. He was not even given a chance! I am very disappointed!
