The QB back and forth for the Chiefs has taken another twist, as coach Herm Edwards announced today that Tyler Thigpen will get the start Sunday when the Chiefs head to Atlanta to take on the Falcons.  “For what we’re trying to do, I think he can do a good job of it,” coach Herm Edwards said. “He’ll be limited in some things but we want to take a look at him.”  The 24-year-old was 14-for-33 off the bench Sunday in the teams 23-8 loss at home to the Raiders.  He ended with 151 yards, and threw a short TD and also had a two-point conversion.  The struggling Chiefs has not won a game for some 11 months.
