Posted in Daunte Culpepper wants to play quarterback again in the NFL. The Chiefs at least need one more if not more options other than Tyler Thigpen and Quinn Gray. Sounds like a perfect fit. We’ll see if it is or not on Tuesday, as Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com is reporting that Culpepper will meet with the Chiefs for a physical and possibly to sign with the team.
There was some rumblings that another AFC West team – Denver, had interest in Culpepper, but that is not the case. Reports say that Culpepper wants a multi-year deal to come back to the league, and Glazer says the Chiefs just might be interested in talking to him about it if he does well in the physical.
