Pro Football Weekly reports on the major changes to the Chiefs coaching staff that went down earlier on Tuesday:
The Chiefs announced Tuesday that they have retained six assistant coaches and have hired seven new assistants to add to head coach Todd Haley’s staff. Kansas City will keep offensive coordinator Chan Gailey, OL coach Bob Bicknell, asst. OL coach Joe D’Alessandris, DL coach Tim Krumrie and strength and conditioning coaches Cedric Smith and Brent Salazar. Among the new coaches added the Chiefs’ staff are: Clancy Pendergast and Gary Gibbs (former NFL defensive coordinators), Bill Muir, who has been an NFL coach for 31 seasons, Joel Collier, Steve Hoffman, Pat Perles and Dedric Ward.
