The Chiefs have brought over one of Scott Pioli’s old players in a deal, as the team today made a deal with New England for lineabcker Mike Vrabel. Vrabel has been a mainstay on the Pats defense.
He came to New England from the Steelers as a free agent in 2001, and was a part of three Super Bowl championship teams. He achieved Pro Bowl status in 2007.
Vrabel will bring some solid leadership to the Chiefs defense, and right away will be penciled in as a starter.
