NFLDraftBible.com reports that the Chiefs are interested in South Florida wide receiver Taurus Johnson:
South Florida wide receiver Taurus Johnson is set to work out for the Kansas City Chiefs in Tampa Bay on March 30th. Wide Receivers Coach Dedric Ward is flying in for the workout. The Chiefs have signed veteran wideout Bobby Engram to team up with Dwayne Bowe, but the former Penn St. Nittany Lion is 36 years old and will be entering his 14th season in the NFL.
Other than Bowe and tight end Tony Gonzalez, no other Chief had more than 30 receptions or reached 400 receiving yards. With the newly acquired Matt Cassel at quarterback and head coach Todd Haley coming over from Arizona where he had three receivers top 1,000 yards last season, you can believe the Chiefs will be looking to address the wide receiver position, Daniel Mogollon reports.
