Chiefs Expected to Work Out DE/OLB Everette Brown

The Chiefs are expected to have a private workout for Florida St. DE/OLB Everette Brown soon, Scout.com has confirmed. Brown, widely believed to be the best pass rusher available for this year’s NFL draft, left Florida St. as a Junior and posted 13.5 sacks to go along with 21.5 tackles for losses in his final season at the school. Kansas City’s need for pass rush help is obvious based on last year’s league-low sack total of 10.

With Cleveland all hot and bothered by LB Arron Curry, K.C. could be in the market to trade down into to a position better suited to draft Brown as their ROLB. Not a bad idea.
