The Chiefs have declared that they are not interested in trading long-time tight end Tony Gonzalez. Chairman Clark Hunt said Tuesday that even though there were plenty of talk of it last season, they will not pull the trigger on a deal for Gonzalez in 2009.
So how does Gonzalez feel about that? The Pro Bowl TE said to the KC Star that he’s pretty much neutral on the matter of either staying with KC or moving on.
“I’m just going with the flow,” Gonzalez said Tuesday. Last season the Chiefs explored the possibility of moving him to a couple of teams, including contenders Buffalo, Green Bay or the Giants.
