Posted in The Kansas City Star reports that the Chiefs have released DE Brian Johnston:
The Chiefs released defensive end Brian Johnston, a seventh-round draft choice last year. He played in nine games last year as a rookie. In recent weeks, the Chiefs lopped four members of last year’s draft class, including fourth-round wide receiver Will Franklin, sixth-round wide receiver Kevin Robinson and seventh-round tight end Mike Merritt.
