Vrabel Explains Lewd Gesture Towards Broncos

The weight of a playing for a bad team finally caught up to Chiefs LB Mike Vrabel on Sunday. Vrabel extended his middle finger to the Broncos’ bench after they converted a late fourth-down attempt into a TD in a 44-13 win in Kansas City. Traded from New England to the Chiefs last winter, Vrabel played on winning teams the past eight years with the Patriots but the slide down to 3-9 got the best of him. “I was frustrated,” Vrabel told the Kansas City Star of his lewd gesture. “I’ve been on the other end of one of those (blowout victory) and it’s a lot of fun. Well, now I’ve been on the other side, and it’s not good.”
