Chiefs Struggling to Sell out Browns Matchup Sunday

The Chiefs are having issues selling out their home finale Sunday vs the Browns, as their official website reports that the game could be blacked out, the first of its kind since 1990:

Approximately 5,500 tickets remain to be sold for the Kansas City Chiefs final home game of the 2009 season this weekend against the Cleveland Browns. Kickoff is slated for 12:00 Noon (Central).

To avoid a local television blackout, the Chiefs must inform the NFL office by 12:00 PM (Central) on Thursday if they have reached sellout status. The game is scheduled to be televised locally on KCTV5.
