Meet Our New Chiefs Gab Co-Editor Ryan Brown

We are pleased to announce the addition of Ryan Brown, our new Co-Editor here at Chiefs Gab!

Ryan Brown, formerly of “Home of the Chiefs” on the MVN Network, has been a Chiefs fan since Bill Kenney was sullying the turf at Arrowhead. He has lived through the 22-year reign of terror known as “Carl Peterson’s Five Year Plan”. He lived through Lin Elliot (though that one nearly required a court order and witness relocation for the Elliot family). He revered Derrick Thomas, and is convinced he was the reason that Jeff George was the victim of the famous “Called Safety” by DT.

On the tragic day when Thomas passed away, he wore a black armband, and held a private service in his apartment. He witnessed the infamous “No Punt” game between Kansas City and Indianapolis in 2003 (which caused a fist-sized hole to appear in his living room wall), and nearly threw his pregnant sister-in-law down four rows of seats at Arrowhead when Pete Stoyanovich banged home a 49-yard field goal into the wind to beat the Broncos in 1998. To say he’s passionate is like calling Larry Johnson “disgruntled” – a massive understatement. He looks forward to the Chiefs winning a Super Bowl in his life time, and hopes that he can pass his passion along to you.
