KC inks veteran free agent CB Richardson; cut LB Cole

The Chiefs today signed veteran free agent cornerback Mike Richardson and cut linebacker Justin Cole. Richardson has seen action in 21 games with one start with New England and Kansas City. He attended training camp with the Chiefs this year, but was released prior to the start of the regular season. He has recorded 10 tackles, nine solos, and 20 special teams tackles. He originally entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft pick of New England in 2007.
