Hunt One of the Owners on Hand for Labor Talks

As things appear to be heading in the right direction as far as a new CBA is concerned, the Chiefs are well represented inside the talks.

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has joined seven other owners in the labor negotiations. Included among the owners are Giants co-owner John Mara, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, Packers CEO Mark Murphy, Chargers owner Dean Spanos, Panthers owner Jerry Richardson, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and Steelers owner Art Rooney.

Right now, the biggest hurdle according to sources is the rookie wage scale. The date of July 21st continues to be on the docket for a deal to be done between the two sides.
