Cassel Credits Screaming Match for Helping Spark His Play

Chiefs head coach Todd Haley and quarterback Matt Cassel had to be seperated by Le’Ron McClain during a sideline argument during the team’s victory over the Vikings Sunday according to Sam Mellinger of the Kansas City Star.

After the game Cassel said things are fine and that the argument may have helped light a spark for him. “I seem to respond well when I’m pushed,” Cassel said. “When my back is up against the wall.”
