Chiefs to Work Out Oklahoma TE James Hanna

SBNation.com reports that the Chiefs are set to work out Oklahoma tight end James Hanna.

The Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to work out Oklahoma tight end James Hanna, Scout.com reports. Hanna is a 6’4″, 252 pound tight end who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.49 seconds and has a 36.5 inch vertical, according to his Combine Numbers. The Chiefs seem set at tight end but Hanna is a late-round prospect so it’s doubtful he’d be competing for a starting job in August. Kevin Boss signed this offseason and Tony Moeaki was drafted in 2010. Tight end seems set in the near future for the Chiefs but Hanna seems to offer a unique skill set, especially if the Chiefs start featuring more two tight end sets, as the Chiefs have hinted at this year.
