Posted in The Chiefs placed the franchise tag on wide receiver Dwayne Bowe last year. Bowe is due to become an unrestricted free-agent in March again. It is unclear if the Chiefs new regime will try and re-sign him or franchise him again.
One scout told Peter King of Sports Illustrated, “I am scared to death of Dwayne Bowe. Like him a lot, but not sure what we’d be buying if we signed him. Too much baggage.”
