Deal To Send Albert To Miami Off The Table

Branden Albert

It’s been ongoing for weeks, but now the very much talked about deal that would have sent Chiefs left tackle Branden Albert to the Miami Dolphins appears dead.

Ian Rapoport of NFL.com says that any type of deal right now is done, as the Dolphins offered just a third-rounder for Albert, not the 54th overall, and that killed the deal.

Now of course that doesn’t mean talks won’t start up again at some point, but for now Albert returns to the Chiefs as the left tackle while he waits for his future to be determined.
