Former Chiefs receiver, Eddie Kennison, has signed with Kansas City in order to retire a Chief. Kennison was drafted by the Rams but the best years of his career came with the Chiefs from 2002-2006 Kennison averaged 59 receptions, 961 yards, and 5 touchdowns. [...]

The Chiefs have cut their ties with another veteran player.  On Tuesday, the team released wide receiver Eddie Kennison.   He was a Chief for seven years, catching 321 passes for more than 5,000 yards.  Kennison only played in eight games last season because of injuries.
