Posted in From: KC Star Chiefs Quarterback Ingle Martin, who ended the season on the Chiefs practice squad, agreed to contract terms, giving the Chiefs a fifth quarterback under contract for next season. The others are Tyler Thigpen, Brodie Croyle, Damon Huard and Quinn Gray.

Chiefs Make Roster Moves
To make room for newly-signed quarterback Ingle Martin, the Chiefs announced the release of wide receiver Maurice Price and running back Jackie Battle. They also promoted receiver Marques Hagans from the practice squad. The Chiefs hope the players will clear waivers, so they can be added to the practice squad.
Chiefs Add Quarterback Depth
A few days after losing starting quarterback Brodie Croyle for a few weeks with a bum shoulder, the Chiefs have added Ingle Martin to the roster. Martin, whose signing will be official once the Chiefs release a player in his place, will serve as the Chiefs’ number-three quarterback while Croyle is healing.
