First-Round Pick Albert Hurts Ankle in Practice

The Kansas City Star is reporting that first-round pick Branden Albert hurt his left ankle injury during Sunday’s OTA practice. The paper said that Albert limped to a tent, where he had his foot and ankle bandaged. He later walked without help but was carted to the players’ parking lot. Coach Herm Edwards said Albert would be fine.  He is expected to be a big part of the hopefully revamped O-line for the Chiefs in 2008, and getting hurt early is not going to help him and the teams chances.
