Broncos OC McCoy Being “Strongly Considered” for Chiefs Job

The Chiefs season is over, and the team is now in the market for a new OC with Charlie Weis taking off for Florida. One guy that PFT reports is in the running is Broncos OC Mike McCoy:

Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy is being “strongly considered” for the job according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN. McCoy didn’t call the plays in Denver, although he has experience coordinating under an emotional, strong-willed coach who is clearly running the show.

Now the question is can the Chiefs do enough to pry McCoy away from a team that is going to have to have a new leader at head coach.

I think McCoy could add a lot to the team – but I’m not sure how we could pry him away from Denver! Here’s hoping.
